Geoff Dainty - Board Chairman

Geoff DaintyGeoff Dainty is a professional civil engineer and property investor. He joined the Rotary Club of New Lynn in 1983 and has served as District Governor of D9910 in 1997-98 and again in 1998-99.    Geoff helped establish ROMAC in New Zealand.   He has been involved with a number of humanitarian projects in the South Pacific and is currently Chairperson of the City-West Auckland Life Education Trust.   Geoff  lives in Auckland, NZ, is married to Jenny and they have two children.

 

 

 

 

Richard Groom - Board Secretary

Richard Groom

Richard Groom, Board secretary from July 1 in 2009, joined Rotary in 1990.  A multiple Paul Harris fellow, he joined the D9800 ROMAC committee in 2002 and has acted as Southern Region ROMAC secretary since 2005.  His other main Rotary activity has been in the Foundation area having organised and carried through to completion seven Matching Grant projects since 2001.

 

 

 

 

Brian Eddy  - Board Treasurer

Brian EddyBrian is a member of the Rotary Club of Rossmoyne and has served as Club President. He has served on District GSE Committees, has chaired a district conference and travelled with a Rotary Friendship Exchange to UK. Brian and his wife have hosted a number of Youth Exchange Students, GSE team members and RFE team members.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Richard Woodburn - Board Operations Director

Richard Woodburn

Richard Woodburn is a Civil Engineer, a former Rotaractor and a Rotarian since 1978.  He was President of the Rotary Club of Parkes, NSW 2001-02, and an Assistant Governor D9700 2002-05.  He is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Randwick in D9750.  Richard has been a member of the Board of ROMAC since 2004 and was Secretary for four years prior to inheriting his current role.  He is also active in patient support through the Sydney Children's Hospital at Randwick and is a Board Member of Ronald McDonald House, Randwick. 

 

 

  Fred Juredeini - Board Medical Director

Fred JuredeiniKen (Fred) Jureidini has been medical director since 2009.  He is a children's kidney specialist with major interests in Aboriginal Health, telhealth and medical law.  He has recently diversified into medical hypnotherapy.

 

 

 

 

 

Phil Rosenberg - Board Marketing Director

Phil Rosenberg

Phil Rosenberg has lived in England, USA and Hong Kong, the latter where he joined the Rotary Club of Kowloon in the mid 80's. On arrival in Australia he joined the Rotary Club of Surfers Paradise West which introduced ROMAC to Queensland. He has been awarded PHFs from two Rotary clubs in recognition of his work with ROMAC, and is now a member of one of the newest clubs, the Rotary Club of Gold Coast, a merger beteen his original club and the Rotary Club of Surfers Paradise Central.

 

 

 

John Benger - Southern Region Director

John Benger

John is semi-retired following a career in company management, IT and logistics.   John is a Fellow of The Australian Institute of Management and Fellow of the Institute of Accountants.   He is a Paul Harris Sapphire holder and member of Rotary Club of Richmond in Victoria.  

 

 

 

 

B ill Benham - Northern Region Director

Bill BenhamBill Benham joined RC of Woolloongabba in 1991 and was president of that club in 1997-98. In 1999 Bill joined RC of Port of Brisbane  and was awarded a PHF in 2000.  Bill's involvement in ROMAC commenced in 1999 when he was D9630 chairman for ROMAC for three years.  Bill is now Northern Region Director. 

 

 

 

 

Oleh Bilyk - Central Region Director

Oleh BilykOleh Bilyk is a past president and Paul Harris Fellow of Brownhill Creek Rotary Club in D9520. He served as chairman of various District committees such as  Rotacare & Public Relations. He was a member of the joint District committee in South Australia which saw the launch there of Polio Plus.

 

 

 

 

 

Eric Horne - New Zealand Region Director

Eric Horne

Eric Horne is a Scot and a GP in a medical practice in Auckland.  Prior to his arrival in New Zealand Eric had spent  13 years working in Africa (mainly in Swaziland).  He has been a Rotarian for 40 years in 4 countries and a club president twice.  He has been involved with ROMAC since its inception in New Zealand.

 

 

 

 

 Joan Varian - Western Region Director

Joan Varian

Joan Varian has had a long career in nursing and care organisations. A long term Rotarian, Joan has been a President of two Rotary Clubs - Claremont/Cottesloe and Hillarys - and has held a number of positions on District Committees, including Australian Rotary Health, Group Study Exchange, Youth Exchange and Australia Japan Youth Exchange.

 

 

 

Rob Wilkinson - Eastern Region Director

Rob WilkinsonRob is a self-employed travel agent. He joined the Rotary Club of North Ryde in 1992, and has been Club President on three occasions, most recently in 2009-2010. He has held various Directorships within the Club during those 19 years, and was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship in 2000. Rob is married to Carolin, with two adult children, Alex and Alana, and enjoys a regular game of golf.
