Judy Holland has an extensive background in business and has held a number of senior executive roles in the hospitality, health and services sectors throughout her career. With her husband, she has also successfully run one of Tasmania’s most important heritage hotels, the Lufra Hotel on the Port Arthur peninsula, and following extensive redevelopment of the property, it is now recognised as one of Tasmania’s premier tourist resorts.

Returning to her hometown of Brisbane in 2012, Judy has continued her career in the hospitality sector. Over the fourteen years Judy has been a member of Rotary, she has been involved in organising, and a committee member, for numerous fundraising events and Rotary programs including recently raising funds for farmers during the bush drought.

A keen sailor, she also organised a 10-week sailing course for Defence personnel, emergency services personnel and abuse victims suffering from stress related illnesses and is also a member of the selection interview committee for Rotary Youth Programs. Judy loves spending time with her extensive family, whilst sailing boats has been a passion since a young girl.
